What’s in store for ACES2012
Our conference emphasizes strong editing as a foundation but has grown to incorporate the growing digital frontier. It’s training you won’t find anywhere else.
What we offer
Each conference session runs 90 minutes. We host four sessions per block on grammar, SEO, headline writing, content management, layout and design, word choice and style. We also have presentations tailored to editors at small papers and in corporate positions. See our schedule

The society may have its roots in journalism, but we’ve grown to more than 800 media and corporate professionals. Whether you’re freelance or full time, you’ll discover knowledge relevant to you.
Students: take note
If you’re a student, ACES is the best way to connect with editors, and find avenues to a career.
We know how to have fun, too
After the sessions, ACES hosts socials aimed at giving you a chance to unwind, make friends and celebrate the craft. Attendees get to mingle at Thursday’s reception, catch our keynote at Friday’s banquet and end ACES on a high note during Saturday’s party. The Education Fund hosts its legendary silent auction, too, featuring more than 100 gifts and prizes that include vintage books, cool gadgets and entertainment packages. See our schedule
